Prices slashed for the first time ever of CWG Village flats by DDA by offering 30% discount
The early try was made to sell off around 120 flats in CWG village. About a decade the few of 3 BHK
flat parcels were sold for 7 crores but unfortunately there was less response for the same.
This strategic decision came after the downturn of housing sectors and roping in good investors.
Even for the luxurious flats the price value has gone down from 7 crore to 4 crore. This sale is only
limited for government agencies. The prices of per square metre has also been slashed from
3,41,210 per square metre to 2,24,000 per square metre. The news of the same has been confirmed
by the Vice Chairman of DDA.
Even for the flat sizes that ranged between 175 square metres to 200 square metres annually there
was rise of 10% increase.
The last sale of the flat was recorded in CWG village was in 2017 when the markets were down. By
offering 30% discount there are chances of getting in more buyers and if there is need in future,
further also there would be slashes done in the pricing part.

On top priority the PM-Uday scheme being implemented by DDA official.
With the agenda of solving the problem of unauthorised colonies and other
pertaining issues the Delhi Awas Adhikar yojana, the portal has been
developed and will resolve the purpose of filling the registration of residents
and filing in application for conferment of rights in unauthorised colonies.
New Delhi:- The portal is also being developed with the intention of finalising
the boundaries by taking comments or the feedback from the residents of
welfare associations of these unauthorised colonies on the boundary maps
uploaded by the DDA.
In order to give in the facilities to the residents of unauthorised colonies there
are help desk is available throughout Delhi. Pertaining to this to provide high
end convenience there are online portals too that is available. These online
services can be availed by paying very nominal charge. Even the list of Cscs
will be shortly uploaded on the DDA’s Website.

colonies will now have the legal property right tweet by DDA confirmed this news.
over the decades, the residents of unauthorized colonies didnt had any proper rights therefore
it created lot of difficulties during buying and selling properties of these unauthorized colonies.
It also turned out to be impossible one to take loans from banks. Under the PM uday Yojna the
residents of the unauthorized colonies are being given property rights in these colonies.
The authorised ownership of their house or flat will only be given to people who have all
neccessary documentation pertaining to the premises.

Norms for household Industrial units in residential areas get relieved by DDA
In the need of certain changes and with a view to greater sustainablity there are new laws
passed. The amalgamation of land plots was earlier 64 square metres that changed upto 200
square metres.
The proposal also got approved by the authorities there would be maximum 9 workers and
11KW power operating systems in these residential areas. Pertaining to the same there would
be no need of taking any sort of clearances from the Labour and Industries Department neither
from Delhi pollution control committee based on the condition that there would be no
polluting units in the household industry.
The plans also got a nod of changing the mode of disposal of Institutional category plots from
leasehold to freehold basis. Further to this there are also proposed amendments in Master plan
of 2021 and will be look forward to bring in some refined changes. There is also proposed plan
for the extension of time for payments of flats for those who have booked through online
scheme to facilitate allotees. The Master plan of 2021 will also be further modified and will
ensure that processes are simplified for the people of household/service industries.

Helpdesks planned to mark boundaries by Delhi Development Authorities
Delhi Development Authorities will soon start the process of precising boundaries of
Unauthorised colonies. By the end of November the helpdesk will also be set for unauthorised
colonies and help residents to process of registering ownership rights. It is also said that this is
going to be the first step of process.
The preparation of maps pertaining to 500 unauthorized colonies is done and same would be
uploaded in steps. The updation processes will go on and till December end there would be
launch of web portal too. Applications for ownership right will also be taken and subject to
verification processes and other formalities, the later neccessary steps will be taken.
Residents of Welfare Association for these unauthorized colonies can submit their suggestion or
queries pertaining to the boundaries within 15 days will be provided following which
boundaries will be done. The ownership righrs will be granted too more then 1700
unauthorized colonies provided they do have proper documentations for the same.
