Helpdesks planned to mark boundaries by Delhi Development Authorities
Delhi Development Authorities will soon start the process of precising boundaries of
Unauthorised colonies. By the end of November the helpdesk will also be set for unauthorised
colonies and help residents to process of registering ownership rights. It is also said that this is
going to be the first step of process.
The preparation of maps pertaining to 500 unauthorized colonies is done and same would be
uploaded in steps. The updation processes will go on and till December end there would be
launch of web portal too. Applications for ownership right will also be taken and subject to
verification processes and other formalities, the later neccessary steps will be taken.
Residents of Welfare Association for these unauthorized colonies can submit their suggestion or
queries pertaining to the boundaries within 15 days will be provided following which
boundaries will be done. The ownership righrs will be granted too more then 1700
unauthorized colonies provided they do have proper documentations for the same.
